How do I find out what device this is?
The easiest way to check your phone’s model name and number is to use the phone itself. Go to the Settings or Options menu, scroll to the bottom of the list, and check ‘About phone’, ‘About device’ or similar. The device name and model number should be listed.
Is there another device on my account?
Go to your Google Account. On the left navigation panel, select Security . On the Your devices panel, select Manage devices. You’ll see devices where you’re currently signed in to your Google Account.

Remotely find, lock, or erase
- Go to android.com/find and sign in to your Google Account. If you have more than one phone, click the lost phone at the top of the screen.
- The lost phone gets a notification.
- On the map, you’ll get info about where the phone is.
- Pick what you want to do.
Follow the steps below to locate a hidden phone:
- Open the menu on your phone.
- Then go to SETTINGS.
- Select the “Manage Connections “
- Options will be displayed “CONNECTIVITY” OR “CONNECTION” click on “SET UP BLUETOOTH.”
- Search for nearby devices. A list of all the available devices closeby will pop up.
What does it mean when a device says other devices?
When a device has a yellow circle with an exclamation mark under “Other devices”, this indicates that the device is conflicting other hardware. Or, it may indicate that the device or its drivers are not installed properly. Double-clicking and opening the device with the error shows you an error code.
Why is my device not detected in Device Manager?
If you don’t see the device you are trying to install in Device Manager, and there are no “Other devices” listed, the device is not detected by the computer. Even if Windows does not have the proper driver support for the device, it should still put that device under Other devices or Unknown device.
