Solution 2: Change the content type

- Then you need to take the Properties into edit mode:
- Then you can change the Content Type (to Site Page, usually) – and that should remove the error:
Add a page
- Open the site that you want to add a page to.
- Select New.
- Select Page.
- Select a template, then select Create page.
- Type a name of your page, then add any other content you want. Use web parts to add text, images, and other content.
- Select Publish when you’re ready.
How to create a new page in SharePoint?
You may click the setting gear> Site Contents > Site Pages > New. Check if you can create a new page. The Add a page action creates a new page in this Site Pages library. 1.Does the issue occur in a specific page or all the pages in the site collection? Check if only root site or subsite has this issue.
In the Page details pane, select Properties ^ and select the value of the property under the property name that you want to change. Type the new value, and then press Enter to save your changes. To edit more than one property at a time, select Edit all, and edit the properties you want to change, and click Save.
You can add or edit the page description by typing in the space under Description. When in edit mode, simply place your cursor in the Description box and start typing. The thumbnail and description are used in places like search results and SharePoint news. To add a property to a page, create a column for that property in the pages library.
How do I edit more than one property at a time in SharePoint?
Type the new value, and then press Enter to save your changes. To edit more than one property at a time, select Edit all, and edit the properties you want to change, and click Save. Select Republish to update your changes. Or you can undo your changes by selecting Discard changes on the command bar.
