I can’t get anything higher than 1920 x 1080 display resolution on the external monitor. The LG monitor display is absurdly huge and doesn’t make sense with the wrong resolution. I was hoping for 2560×1080. I don’t think I can return either the computer or the monitor since I bought them on promotion.

Click to expand… HDMI will be limited to one 4K (@ 30Hz IIRC), you will need mDP to DP and monitors that support Daisy Chaining. HDMI is limited, you would need to use a USB to VGA/DVI or an active MST Dock like the Accell or Official Dock if you want to use mDP to HDMI.
