How do I get multiple SSIDs?

- From a computer connected by ethernet, open browser\type in the Address Bar 192.168.
- Click on Wireless Setup.
- To your left, click on the “Multiple SSID” link.
- Click the drop down in step ONE and select a name from the list separate from the main network name, (this should be in the box)
Can one router have two SSIDs?
You can only have a different SSID on a different channel if you have multiple radios in the WAP. Channels come under the responsibility of a physical transceiver which can only transmit on one channel at a time.
Does 5GHz Wi-Fi go through walls?

Why do AP radios have no default SSID?
AP radios are disabled and no default SSID is assigned. This is done in order to prevent unauthorized users to access a customer’s wireless network through an access point that has a default SSID and no security settings. You must create an SSID before you can enable the access point radio interfaces.
Can a network access point use the same SSID?
Multiple access points on a network or subnetwork can use the same SSIDs. SSIDs are case sensitive and can contain up to 32 alphanumeric characters. Do not include spaces in your SSIDs. The first character cannot contain any of these characters: Exclamation point (!) These characters are also invalid and cannot be used in an SSID:
How does SSID work on dual radio devices?
On dual-radio wireless devices, the SSIDs that you create are enabled on both radio interfaces. The client devices can associate to the access point with the use of any of the active SSIDs. Create a VLAN for the SSID. Create an SSID and assign the VLAN. Broadcast the SSID. Configure the SSID and map it to a VLAN.
