How do I get a part list from Lego Digital designer?
- In LDD, Click File>Export BOM.
- If you don’t have an account with rebrickable.com, create one.
- Under “Add parts to the MOC” select “import from MPD/LDR/LFX file” select the BOM file you saved in step 1 and click import.
What is the latest version of LDD?
However, in March 2016, a new updated version, 4.3. 9, was uploaded. The latest version, 4.3. 12 was uploaded in late 2019 and is currently the only version available….Lego Digital Designer.

Are there any EV3 specific parts in LDD?
Recently, I purchased a cheap Windows laptop for use by a FLL team. After twice installing LDD v4.3.11 on the PC, however, I am running into a roadblock. It doesn’t seem to have EV3-specific parts, such as EV3 motors, sensors, or brick/brain.
Is there an alternative to Lego LDD 4.3.11?
For anyone looking for an alternative to LDD since it is not longer supported by LEGO, Studio from Bricklink has a similar building experience and can even open LDD files. I think I might have a more elegant solution rather than downgrading to LDD 4.3.11 :
You can also check out bricks (i.e. before buying) which you don’t have and check its size/compatibility with other bricks. LDD is small, easy to use and there are not many advanced features. But there are some “hidden” secrets that are not so obvious for everyone…
Which is the building guide mode in LDD?
Probably building instructions will be useful. LDD will make it for you. Just press the icon in the upper right corner called “Building guide mode” or simply press F7. That’s it! Now you have an interactive building instruction. You can rotate and zoom each step.
