How to add the left Nav on a SharePoint page?
If you are wanting to add the Left nav pane BACK onto your page (Which from the above it is mention is in a new sub-Site of another) you can add the Left Nav in the Site Settings -> Look and Feel -> Navigation of the new Sub-Site. On the Current Navigation section checkmark the “Display the same navigation items as the parent site”…
If your site has been customized by the site owner, the left-hand menu or top menu may not be available for editing. In SharePoint, you can only customize the left-hand menu on a team site at this time unless you are in classic mode. If so, you can go to Site Settings > Site Contents > click Site Settings on the top right menu > click Navigation Elements under Look and Feel on the Site Settings page > clear the Enable Quick Launch setting to turn it off, and then click OK.
How to hide site navigation in SharePoint App bar?
Display just the hub navigation on the home page, and the site navigation in the global navigation panel. Start by hiding the site navigation using one of two methods: Go to Settings, then Change the look, then Navigation and toggle the Display site navigation to Hide. Go to Settings, then Change the look, then Header and choose Extended layout.
