How do I know if tracking is working?
You can also check your tracking code’s status:
- Navigate to the Admin page in Google Analytics. (This will be at the top of the page.)
- Click “Tracking Info”, and it will show the current status.

I highly recommend switching to Google Tag Manager if you want to further scale Event Tracking (and other Google Analytics features ). Do You need event tracking for outbound links?
You have implemented Event Tracking for all outbound links (links pointing to a different domain) on your site. You don’t want these clicks to affect the bounce rate when a visitor clicks on one of those links.
