How do I map a quick link?
To create and manage your quick links, click on Site Map in the blue admin toolbar to open the Site Map Editor. The top of the Site Map Editor contains the Quick Links Toolbar, which is where you can add, rearrange, and delete quick links.
What is Quick Links?
Quick links are a collection of links to frequently used application pages, which allow users to complete common actions. For example, searching for a person or accessing a page containing a list of the users assigned cases. Quick links can be configured manually through the admin application.
The Quick Links menu is an optional menu that can be enabled if desired. It will show up in the Secondary menu, in the upper right corner of the page. Then, navigate back to your Dashboard to add and configure the links in your Quick Links menu (see Reorder and Manage Menu Items).
Where is SharePoint Quick Launch?
The links that appear on the left side of your site are called Quick Launch links. By default, Quick Launch includes links to recent items as well as important items like lists and libraries. The links at the top, in the Top Link bar, typically show subsites under your site.
