How do I open quick action from lightning component?
We need to use pageReference Type as ‘Lightning Component’. All set. Lets click on the quick action. You can see the lightning component opened in a new tab, the url has parameter of the case record Id and its displayed on the component.
What are quick actions?
Quick Actions are a set of buttons which let you quickly open things or switch settings on or off in Windows 10. You can see the Quick Action buttons at the bottom of Action Center, which appears when you swipe in from the right edge of the screen.

You can only use the Quick Action API on a lightning record page. You also have to include the quick action on the page layout (mobile & lightning experience actions section) for it to be available for use. It’s a pretty limited feature at the moment but has a lot of potential.
