- In the Design or Prototype mode, click the Desktop Preview icon. The Preview window appears.
- (Optional) Click an asset or prototype interaction in XD and make changes if necessary.
- To close the Preview window, click the close button of the window.

To create a link, you can navigate to Share mode. In Share mode, XD will highlight which artboards will be available in a link, determined by the “home” artboard of a prototype and any prototype flows you’ve defined.
