How do I remove a forwarding number from Google Voice?
When call forwarding is set up, calls to your Google Voice number will ring your linked phones….Remove a linked number
- Go to Google Voice.
- In the top right, click Settings .
- On the left, click Account.
- Next to your linked number, click Remove. Remove.
Why is someone using my number for Google Voice?
If your linked number gets claimed, that means you or someone else is using that number with another Voice account. If you still own the linked number, you can add it back to the Voice account where you want to use it. If it’s a landline number, click the verify by phone link, and then click Call.
