For example, you can view the number of people who have visited the site, how many times people have visited the site, and a list of files that have received the most views. and then click Site usage. To do this:
- Go to Office 365 Admin Center.
- Click on SharePoint Admin Center.

How do I see site activity in SharePoint?

We noticed on our communication sites that the home page is not showing up at the bottom of the page the number of views. We can see the save for later option or like the page. However, when we go into the site pages library and check any of the other pages, we do see the site views count showing up.

Can a SharePoint classic page be a homepage?
You can also make an existing page the homepage for your site, even if you are using a SharePoint classic site. You must be the site owner to set a different page as a homepage. The page you use as a homepage must be stored in the Pages (or Site Pages) library of your site.
How many views does a modern page have?
EDIT Also when i accessed the page from the Site Pages list, and i select the modern page, i got a popup box named File Statistics as follow:- where it showed that i have 26 viewers with 353 views.
