What are the methods that Qiskit backend job instance has?
They have the following methods:
- result() : This is a blocking call that returns a Result object.
- status() : Returns a JobStatus object.
- cancel() : Attempts to cancel the job.
- backend() : The backend instance which created the job.
- job_id() : a string the IBM Q API uses to identify the job.
Is there a QCONFIG module in qiskit.py?
And Qconfig is still not found. Tutorial branch (stable/master): master, getting_started.ipynb, superposition_and_entanglement.ipynb, entanglement_revisited.ipynb I don’t know if this is the “right way” to resolve this issue or not, but I usually use a Qconfig.py from my qiskit-sdk-py folder.
Where do qubits start in a Qiskit circuit?
First, we need to import all the tools we will need: In Qiskit, we use the QuantumCircuit object to store our circuits, this is essentially a list of the quantum operations on our circuit and the qubits they are applied to. In our quantum circuits, our qubits always start out in the state |0⟩ | 0 ⟩.
Which is the best version of Qiskit to use?
Version Information Qiskit Software Version Qiskit 0.27.0 Terra 0.17.4 Aer 0.8.2 Ignis 0.6.0
Why is there no module named’qconfig’?
As a side note, the README assumes the commands are executed in a regular prompt (ie. not inside a notebook) unless otherwise noted – this way you do not need to modify the notebooks themselves, and reduces the chances of running into permission issues as the one you described.
