Share with specific people
- Select the file you want to share.
- Click Share or Share .
- Under “Share with people and groups,” enter the email address you want to share with.
- To change what people can do to your doc, on the right, click the Down arrow.
- Choose to notify people.
- Click Share or Send.
How do you share a document and make people make a copy?

- In Google Drive, open the file.
- Copy the file link from the address bar.
- In Gmail, click.
- Paste the file link in the email and in the link, change edit to copy.
- When your email is ready, click Send.
Can someone see if you open their Google Doc?
Bottom line: Viewing publicly shared Google Docs does not reveal your identity. If you accidentally open a Google Doc, the owner won’t be able to gather information about your account. Neither will they gain access to information about your device, IP address or geographical location.
Can Google Docs tell if you copy and paste?

What happens if you share a folder with someone else?

Can you share a workbook with more than one user?
You can keep track of those changes and accept or reject them.
