- Call or visit the person who set your website up for you. The easiest solution is to simply talk to the person who helped you set your website up and ask them to help.
- Call your hosting company.
- Call your domain name registrar.
- Call your lawyer and pay him to help.
How do you fix domain name hijacking?
Always keep your access credentials secure; don’t pick easy passwords and don’t share your passwords. Maintain the email address that you used to register the domain; if it expires, a hijacker can reregister it and use your email address to transfer control of the domain with seeming legitimacy.
What is domain recovery?
A domain restore is for domains that have been registered by Dynadot, but were deleted after the renewal grace period since the owner did not renew the domain. This is only for our customers who wish to restore a domain they had registered with us, but forgot to renew the domain after it expired.

Most domain registrars offer a 20-30 day period for domains that are expired before placing them into an auction. Note that the rules between domain name registrars may vary when it comes to reclaiming lost domain names. If less than 20 days after the domain’s expiration date, try contacting the domain registrar.
What to do if your domain name has been modified?
If the WHOIS information for your domain name was modified without your permission, you should contact the registrar immediately because someone may have accessed your customer account without authorization. ICANN does not have the ability or authority to make changes to the WHOIS information for any domain name.
Can a registrar reverse an unauthorized domain name transfer?
