How to Update SharePoint Add-ins
- Open the site where SharePoint add-ins are installed and navigate to Site Contents.
- Find the Sharepoint add-ins which needs to be updated.
- Select “GET IT” to upgrade the app.
- After clicking on “GET IT” a popup will display.
- Wait for sometime to update the app.
Click on ‘More Features’ from the left navigation/pane. Now, click on the ‘Open’ button under Apps. Select apps in the left pane, and then select App Catalog….By default, the following document libraries will be available in the App Catalog site:
- Apps for SharePoint.
- Apps for Office.
- App Requests.
How to add an app to the SharePoint store?
To add an app from the SharePoint Store Verify that the user account that is performing this procedure is a member of the site Owners group. On the home page, under Get started with your site, click Add lists, libraries, and other apps. Click SharePoint Store. Browse the SharePoint Store to find an app that you want. Click the app you want to add.
On the Apps for SharePoint page, select the app that you want to remove. In the ribbon, on the Files tab, click Delete Document to remove the app. In the dialog, click OK to confirm that you want to send the item to the site Recycle Bin. The app is removed.
How do I add apps to my site?
On the home page, under Get started with your site, click Add lists, libraries, and other apps. If the Get started with your site control does not appear on the home page, click the Settings icon, and click View Site Contents, and then on the Site Contents page, click Add an App. In the Your Apps list, click the app you want to add.
How to update the add in version of SharePoint?
