Click the plus sign and choose RSS Web Part. On the next screen, you need to provide the name for your RSS connection, RSS Feed URL (which you can obtain from the news source), and specify the frequency of the updates.
Important: For SharePoint in Microsoft 365, the RSS Viewer Web Part is available only in classic SharePoint. You need to do two things to add and configure an RSS Viewer Web Part: Get the URL for the RSS feed.
For SharePoint Online, 2016, 2013, 2010, in the Share & Track group, click RSS Feed. For SharePoint 2007, click View RSS Feed. Note: If the RSS Feed button is disabled, RSS may be disabled for either this site or for the entire site collection.

Do you have to enable RSS feeds on your server?
Note: Before you can receive RSS feeds, the server administrator must enable RSS feeds in Central Administration and the site administrator must have enabled RSS feeds for the site on the Site Settings page. How to link a RSS feed to a document?
In order to make the List RSS Feed link directly to the Publishing Page instead to its Display Form, you have to go to the List RSS settings and in the Document Options section select the Link RSS items directly to their files option.
