To change the color of these user interface items, follow these steps:
- Choose Command→System Preferences and click the General icon.
- From the Appearance and Highlight Color pop-up menus, choose your color variations.
- From the Sidebar Icon Size pop-up menu, choose the size of icons in the Sidebar of the Finder window.
It shows all files on your Mac, defaulting from newest to oldest. The setting for it is slightly hidden. In the Finder, choose Finder > Preferences, and then click Sidebar. That’s where you’ll find checkboxes for all the things you can have icons for in your Sidebar.
