To assign or reassign a key to a function:
- Start from a host session window.
- Click Edit > Preference > Keyboard, or click the Remap button on the toolbar.
- Click the Key Assignment tab.
- Select a Category.
- Select the function you want to assign a key to.
- Click Assign a Key.
Press and hold the Windows key on your keyboard. Press the space bar. A window opens. In this window, you can select the keyboard layout you want to use.
How do change keyboard layout?
If your keyboard displays the wrong characters on the screen, for example you press @ and get “ instead, you need to change the keyboard layout: Click Start and then Control Panel.
