How do you convert CCFL to LED?
- Step 1: Remove CCFL From LCD Screen.
- Step 2: Determine the Required Length of LED Strip.

Can I replace my LCD laptop screen with LED?
These screens are NOT INTERCHANGEABLE. Laptop manufacturers tailor their system for a particular LCD screen, so it is impossible to install a LED screen into a computer outfitted for CCFL screen, and vice-versa. Currently there is no possible way to upgrade from screen that uses CCFL backlight to LED.

not likely. to my knowledge each panel will require a specific controller to work. the controller is embedded into the laptop not the panel. if you change the panel you would need to change the controller which would entail changing the entire laptop.

Do not use any force when removing the CCFL or it will break (I speak from experience). I would suggest that you loosen the wires from the LCD first and then gently remove the CCFL. Take your new CCFL and insert the lamp exactly where the old tube was located. Again, be gentle and this step will be easy.

After inserting the new CCFL and routing the cables correctly, reassemble the LCD the same way you took it apart. After putting your LCD back together, reattach the inverter and any other cables that may have been connected to the display.
