How do you create a subsite on a website collection?
Go to your Site – > Click on settings and click on Site contents on the menu. Click on New Subsite in bottom of the page . Please enter the Title and Description of your new subsite, choose the URL for it and select a template for this subsite.
Select the site of you want to move in the left navigation pane. Check the box next to the subsite you want to move in the right pane. Click Actions drop-down and click Move. Select Destination of the subsite selected in the next dialog box.
How do I save a SharePoint site as a template?
Navigate to the top-level site of your site collection. Click Settings, and then click Site Settings. In the Site Actions section, click Save site as a template. Specify a name to use for the template file in the File name box.
