How do you detect LED lights?
Point the LED toward the sun or a bright incandescent light, and the meter will indicate a current (Figure C). Use one LED to power a second LED. Connect the anode and cathode leads of 2 clear encapsulated super-bright red LEDs. When one LED is illuminated with a bright flashlight, the second LED will glow.
Can you test an LED in circuit?
Although you can easily test an LED by connecting it to a circuit and seeing if it will light up, you can also use a multimeter with a diode test function to test an LED and discover a few more things about it too.
Can you test an LED bulb for continuity?
