How do you find unique Substrings?
Write the code in a function to get all the possible unique substrings from the input string.
- public static void PossibleUniqueSubString(string input)
- {
- //declare the string variable.
- string final = “”;
- //Get a string of possible substrings with out uniqueness.
- for (int i = 0; i < input.Length; i++)
- {
- string str = “”;
How do I find the smallest substring in Java?
Method 1 ( Brute force solution )
- Generate all substrings of string1 (“this is a test string”)
- For each substring, check whether the substring contains all characters of string2 (“tist”)
- Finally, print the smallest substring containing all characters of string2.
How many Substrings are possible?
For any substring we have those two end points. Reversely, for any two characters in the string there is exactly one substring that starts and ends at those points. Thus the number of all substrings is the number of all pairs of (not necessary distinct) characters. There are n*(n-1)/2 pairs of distinct characters.
How many distinct substrings are there in S?
A substring is a contiguous subset of characters in a string. Given a string s, how many distinct substrings of s are palindromes? Some of its substrings are [m, o, k, r, i, mo, ok, mok, okk, kk, okko]. There are 7 distinct palindromes [m, o, k, r, i, kk, okko]….PAGEVIEWS PAST WEEK.

What is the lexicographic rank of a string?
Given a string, find its rank among all its permutations sorted lexicographically. For example, rank of “abc” is 1, rank of “acb” is 2, and rank of “cba” is 6.
What is lexicographically smallest string?
The lexicographically smallest string obtained is “abcd”.
What is minimum window substring?
A substring is a contiguous sequence of characters within the string. Example 1: Input: s = “ADOBECODEBANC”, t = “ABC” Output: “BANC” Explanation: The minimum window substring “BANC” includes ‘A’, ‘B’, and ‘C’ from string t.

Why are palindromes special strings?
A string is said to be a special palindromic string if either of two conditions is met: All of the characters are the same, e.g. aaa . All characters except the middle one are the same, e.g. aadaa .
What is rank of string?
Given a string, find its rank among all its permutations sorted lexicographically. For example, rank of “abc” is 1, rank of “acb” is 2, and rank of “cba” is 6. For simplicity, let us assume that the string does not contain any duplicated characters.
How to find all the unique substrings of length I?
We find all the unique sub-strings of length i (in ascending order). So, first we consider all sub-strings of length 1, then all sub-strings of length 2, and so on. If we find any, we stop, since the sub-string length can only increase from this point.
Which is the smallest substring in the string s?
The smallest substring in the string S, whose occurrence is exactly 1 is “aa” . Length of this substring is 2. Therefore, print 2. Recommended: Please try your approach on {IDE} first, before moving on to the solution.
How to find the shortest run in a string?
If this is the case, you just need to iterate through the string once (character by character) and count all the shortest runs you find. You should keep track of the length of the minimum run found so far (infinity at start) and the length of the current run.
