Why is my carb not getting gas?
No fuel at your carburetor can be caused by many things. It could be a simple issue like a fuel filter plugged so tight that no fuel can pass through. Another logical cause could be the fuel pump. A hole in the fuel line on the tank side could also cause the fuel pump to suck air instead of fuel from the fuel tank.
How do you clear a clogged fuel filter?
If it’s made of metal and isn’t too grimy, you can clean and reuse it. Before you start, relieve your fuel system’s pressure and disconnect your battery. Remove the filter from the fuel lines, then spray it with a solvent cleaner. Let it dry for an hour, then reinstall it, reconnect your battery, and run your engine.
