How do you trigger a power automate flow?
In Power Automate, select My flows. Select + New flow, and from the drop-down select Instant cloud flow. Alternatively, you can select Automated cloud flow to create a flow that is triggered by a specific event, like the creation of a new file in an OneDrive for Business account.
Schedule pages on the SharePoint site
- Go to the library page of the site you want to schedule.
- Select ‘Scheduling’ at the top of the page.
- Slide the toggle right to enable scheduling.

When to trigger workflow to trigger target closure date?
The workflow works fine when started manually. I want to trigger the workflow only when Target Closure Date matches today’s date. The best solution seemed to be to use a Retention Policy. When to publish a SharePoint page or news post?
If page approval is set up for a site, and an author schedules a page or news post for publish, the page must first be approved. After the page is approved, the page is published at the scheduled date and time. If the page is approved at a time later than the scheduled time, it publishes immediately upon approval.
