How do you view composition in After Effects?
To select a composition in the Project panel, right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac OS) in the Composition panel or Timeline panel for the composition and choose Reveal Composition In Project from the context menu.
Can you open multiple compositions in After Effects?
You can only have one project open at a time in After Effects. However, you can import one project into an exisiting project. Simply by using the ‘File > Import’ menu option, or by double clicking in the project panel. This will import the project in it’s own folder, with all the related compositions and assets.

- Select the composition you wish to view.
- Lock the comp screen.
- Changes in the pre-comp will be reflected in the master comp.
