How does Firefox connect to Tor network?
Configure Tor on Firefox Go to Preferences → Under Network Settings → Settings, under Configure Proxy Access to the Internet, select the option Manual proxy configuration. Then set the SOCKS Host to 127.0. 0.1 and Port to 9050 and check the option Proxy DNS when using SOCKS v5 and click OK.
Can I use Tor and Google at the same time?
If you run Tor Browser and another browser at the same time, it won’t affect Tor’s performance or privacy properties. However, be aware that your other browser is not keeping your activity private, and you may forget and accidentally use that non-private browser to do something that you intended to do in Tor Browser.

As Mozilla is about to break all my addons as well as force me onto 64 bit, I’ve no choice but to stop updating Firefox on that PC. Why did I switch to Mozilla Firefox browser?
In the last year or two Mozilla has repeatedly shown total disregard for what the end users actually want and just made whatever changes they they felt were best for us. This is the reason I quit using other browsers and migrated to Firefox in the first place. I want my programs on my computer to look and function the way I want them too.
