How to change default list view in Magento?
Pearl Theme is following default Magento functionality. We don’t have a setting for changing list/grid view in the theme, as you can already achieve this from magento catalog settings: Go to Store > Configuration > Catalog > Catalog > Storefront > List mode and choose the way you want to display your products in the catalog:

How to change the design of a category?
