How to find census block codes by state?
Below are links to lists of the 15-digit census block FIPS codes for each U.S. state/territory in two formats: (1) a CSV file listing all of the census blocks in a state, or (2) an Excel file with a worksheet for each county in the state that lists the census blocks in that county. The block codes are based on the 2010 Census.

The New City Block Plat Map Books Collection consists of 154 books, each containing 100 pages of city block plats. Because of the large number of plats, multiple finding aids have been created to represent the collection.
Where are the finding aids in the city block plat book?
Each finding aid listed in the left hand column below represents one book of plats, and contains a page-by-page, block-by-block listing of the plats in that book, along with a listing of the street names and other features indicated on each plat. Each item listed in the finding aids is linked to a digital image of that plat.

The Census Bureau creates and maintains geographic codes for many statistical geographic areas that are not covered by FIPS codes and GNIS codes. These geographic areas include census divisions, census regions, census tracts, block groups, census blocks and urban areas.
When do the 2020 census blocks come out?
In areas of rapid change, Census 2020 blocks may represent a different geographic area and have different geocodes than the corresponding area covered by Census 2010 blocks. Is the block group code included in a geoid?

How is census data different from public data?
Compared to their public use counterparts, the internal data files include more detailed geographic information, generally to the block level for the Decennial Census and census-tract level for surveys, as well as less restrictive top-coding.
Where can I find the race question on the census?
The race question is available at the block level from the 2010 Census Summary File 1 release; but the income question is available only through the American Community Survey (ACS) Summary File release which goes down to the block group level. If you want the information together, I would recommend using the ACS as a source.
