How to show objects in the 3D view as a specific color?
I want to make one object in a tangled mess of object stand out as bright blue (or any color). I’m usually working with wireframe, solid, or texture view modes. I guessed that in the properties panel, Object -> Display -> Object Color would set how the object is shown, assuming I’m in Solid view mode. But no, it’s still gray.
How to visualize color settings in SolidWorks parts?
Using the Display Pane, you can visualize where all of the colors are applied, as well as edit or remove the appearances. In the part file shown below, the third column of the display pane is the Appearances. It visually shows where each color has been applied to the Part file. In the image below, the same part is now shown in an assembly.
Why is color management not used in batch render?
That’s because the Color Space setting from Render Settings has no influence on the Render View rendering. If you save from Render View you have to set this option “Save Color-Managed Image”. Only for Render Sequence and Batch Render the Color Transform from Render Settings will be used.
