Is AltGr the same as Alt?
AltGr (also Alt Graph) is a modifier key found on many computer keyboards (rather than a second Alt key found on US keyboards). AltGr is used similarly to the Shift key: it is held down while another key is struck in order to obtain a character other than the one that the latter normally produces.

As pointed out by PhiLho, Windows provides a way to remap any key, through the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Control\\Keyboard Layout. Is there a way to turn Ralt to AltGr?
There’s a checkbox to turn RAlt to AltGr, but it’s greyed out if there are any keycodes set for the Ctrl-Alt mode. I’m not sure if they must be tied together; if they are, why have the checkbox in the GUI at all?
