Is my work Mac being monitored?
If your Mac is being monitored, it will show this image (two rectangles) in the top right-hand corner near your computer time: When that symbol appears, you will be able to tell if you are being monitored. Install a Firewall like free LuLu or better yet Little Snitch and see what outbound connections are attempted.
