The SharePoint workspace application helps to access SharePoint offline just like you would normally do in your server. If you would like to work offline using the SharePoint workspace, all you need to do is copy your website, library or lists to your laptop or a portable hard disk .
To make a SharePoint library available offline:
- Save the location as a favorite and check the Make this favorite available offline option.
- Click the Synchronize the current document library icon ( ), and then click Sync Now.
