Is the Mask invisible in Sculpt mode Blender?
Mask in Sculpt Mode is invisible (but works). No idea, blend file attached. Vincent Wypior (trippingtturtle) created this task. Dec 18 2018, 4:21 PM
How can I get the mask to display?
As you can see on the left, there’s no indication that there is a mask on the object, but when sculpted it behaves just like one is there. How can I get the mask to display?
Is it bad to have a mask that is not visible?
I still think having a mask that is affecting everything, but is not visible, is not a good idea. If the current mask drawing makes it harder to work, then the way masks are drawn should be reconsidered imo. Julien Kaspar (JulienKaspar) added a comment. Dec 19 2018, 12:39 PM
How do you edit a mask in Adobe Acrobat?
To edit the mask, select the Mask Brush from the Brush panel. Masks can be edited across the entire model. Using A opens a pie menu to choose different operations. Inverts an existing mask. Fills the whole mask with a value of 1. Fills the mask with a value of 0. To completely remove the mask data, see Clear Sculpt-Mask Data.
Why is the masking not visible in Blender?
I know the masking still works because the area that I have masked protected it from being manipulated by the sculpting brush, but I just cannot see the actual mask. Anybody had this issue?
Is the inactive part of the mask visible?
I would have expected the inactive region to be shown as dark or differently colored, but it doesn’t display at all. See below. As you can see on the left, there’s no indication that there is a mask on the object, but when sculpted it behaves just like one is there.
Can you put a mask on an object?
Closed 3 years ago. I can add and manipulate a mask on an object while sculpting. The mask behaves as if it is present, but the mask itself is not shown in the display area. I would have expected the inactive region to be shown as dark or differently colored, but it doesn’t display at all. See below.
