Is the Raspberry Pi 4 compatible with Debian?
Pi 4 images work on the Pi 400, although a different DTB (not yet available/mainlined as of Linux 5.10) is needed for some hardware support, i.e. for WiFi connectivity. The Raspberry Pi 3 was announced in 2016, and is the first 64-bit member of the family. Some models include wireless connectivity. This family will work with Debian arm64.
How to enable GPU on Raspberry Pi 4?

Can a Raspberry Pi flash a Debian image?
To flash the Debian image to the selected microSD card, click on WRITE. Before the microSD card can be flashed with a new operating system image, it must be erased. Is the Raspberry Pi firmware available in Debian Buster?
In Debian buster, the Raspberry Pi firmware package is called raspi3-firmware. There is an independent documentation project based on a combination of static analysis and trial and error on real hardware available on https://github.com/hermanhermitage/videocoreiv/, but this has not seen any progress since early 2019 (2021-06).
The Pi Firmware Task Force works on an SBBR-compliant (UEFI+ACPI) AArch64 firmware for the Raspberry Pi 4 which allows the normal, vanilla Debian aarch64 installer to run and install a working Debian bullseye on the Raspberry PI. Instructions to doing so are here.
How to enable UART on Raspberry Pi 4B 4G?
Extra command line options should go into /etc/default/raspi-extra-cmdline . add enable_uart=1 to /boot/config.txt then connect to the serial port of your client system: On a Raspberry Pi 4B 4G with bullseye/linux 5.10.13-1, the serial stopped working after the vc4 module was loaded.

Some newer XHCI firmware and Linux EHCI drivers are unhappy with large bandwidth reservations on full-speed devices. To make them happy, devices can request less bandwidth. This does leave RGB out in the cold for such systems, but at least 16-bit formats will work fine with a lower bandwidth.
