What can you do when using SharePoint online to share documents?
Here’s how you share files or folders in SharePoint:
- Select the file or folder you want to share, and then select Share.
- (Optional) Select the dropdown list to change the type of link.
- Enter the names of the people you want to share with and a message, if you want.
- When you’re ready to send the link, select Send.
How do you share documents in a team?

Select the paperclip icon below the box where you type a message to upload a copy of your original file. You can also upload a file by going to the Files tab of a chat and selecting Share.

Do you need a safe attachment policy for SharePoint?
To get the protections, you need to create at least one Safe Links Policy and Safe Attachments policy. Safe Attachments for SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams protection and Safe Documents protection have no dependencies on Safe Links policies.
Can a SharePoint document be attached to an email?
