What do I do if I accidentally restore my iPhone?
If you perform an accidental restore:
- Go to the iTunes preferences from the menu. On Mac, Preferences is in the iTunes menu.
- Go to the Devices tab of the Preferences window.
- Look through the backups listed for one with a date appended to the name, with the date of the accidental restore. That is the emergency backup.
