What does an AC DC adapter plug into?

Why DC system is unearthed?

When you plug in, 3-2 breaks and so the battery’s ground connection is lifted. Now the battery is protected from two unwanted actions: discharging, and being charged.
Can a two prong power supply work on a laptop?
Assuming the power supply is properly built either is fine. Side-note: I have an after-market laptop supply that’s two-prong… it works either way, but if I plug it in one way the metal trim on the laptop has an interesting “buzz” to the touch. Not shocking, but definitely noticeable.
