What does full justification mean?
justified—text is aligned along the left margin, with letter-spacing and word-spacing adjusted so that the text falls flush with both margins, also known as fully justified or full justification; centered—text is aligned to neither the left nor right margin; there is an even gap on each side of each line.
Is full justification better?
About Fully-Justified Text Often considered more formal, less friendly than left-aligned text. Usually allows for more characters per line, packing more into the same amount of space (than the same text set left-aligned).
How do you get rid of large gaps in justified text?
Click the “Home” tab and then select the “Distributed” button in the Paragraph group. Alternatively, press “Ctrl-Shift-J.” This applies a full justification effect that evenly distributes spaces in both words and characters.
When should you use justify?
Justified text is commonly used in printed media such as newspapers, book, leaflets etc where the straight line on each margin can be used successfully to guide the eye across columns of text. Newspapers are a great example of justified text used successfully.

Justification and Approval (J&A) The FAR provides guidance for the requirements information included in the J&A. Pursuant to FAR 6.302 there are limited circumstances that allow for contracting using other than full and open competition.
What should be included in a justification for an action?
As a minimum, each justification shall include the following information: Identification of the agency and the contracting activity, and specific identification of the document as a “Justification for other than full and open competition.” Nature and/or description of the action being approved.
