What happened to MathType?
WIRIS EDITOR was rebranded as MathType in March 2018. Inside Office Tools, you will find WIRIS EDITOR in MathType for Google Workspace and in MathType for Microsoft 365.
How do I reset my MathType?
To re-dock the toolbar, use the shortcut Ctrl + Alt + D . It’s possible the shortcut won’t work. If this happens, it’s normally because you’re using an international keyboard and the shortcut key is different.
How do I reinstall MathType?
To install MathType go to the Insert tab in Word and select Get Add-ins in the Add-ins group. Once installed this MathType option will appear in your Insert menu. You can select it and enter math equations in a floating dialog box with many symbols and typed text or by handwriting equations.

How do you select all equations in Word?
Select all equations with the Find and Replace Step 1: Click Home >Find > Advance Find to open the Find and Replace dialog box. Step 2: In the Find and Replace dialog box, click More button to bring up more Search Options, and then click Special > Any Digit, and finally click the Find Next button.
Why MathType is not working?
To repair the issue, open MathType’s Customize Keyboard dialog. On Windows, you do this by opening MathType’s Preferences menu and clicking Customize Keyboard. When the Customize Keyboard dialog opens, click Reset all. Answer Yes at the prompt, then click Close.
