What happens if you drive a car with bad oil?
Any lack of engine oil in the system, or even dirty oil, will lead to extreme engine wear, and driving a car low on oil can lead to some pretty bad situations. If you run out of engine oil, your engine will fail. If the engine runs out of oil, it will start to grind, and then seize up, stalling the vehicle.

Oil serves a few purposes when it comes to car engines, and one of those purposes is acting as a lubricant for the engine parts. The oil also cleans your car engine. As the oil is filtered through, it keeps debris from building up inside the engine and keeps it clean, transporting the debris to the oil filter.
