A diegetic interface is when a game’s interface elements exist In-Universe; the Player Character sees them, rather than just the player (“Diegetic” meaning “within the narrative”, such as diegetic music). Robo Cam is when one is applied to a character’s view outside of video games.

In terms of game UI, Non-Diegetic is what you would normally associate a typical game UI, an overlay on top of the game. They have the freedom to be completly removed from the games fiction. Non-Diegetic UIs can represent health and ammo or be a hotbar like in World of Warcraft.
