What is albedo transparency?
The alpha value of the Albedo colour controls the transparency level for the material. This only has an effect if the Rendering. By default, the main camera in Unity renders its view to the screen. See in Glossary Mode for the material is set to one of the transparent mode, and not Opaque.
What color has the highest albedo?
An albedo of 0 indicates that no sunlight is reflected or that all sunlight is absorbed, while an albedo of 1 indicates that all sunlight is reflected. The color white has the highest solar reflectivity with an albedo of about 0.9 (90 percent is reflected) if it is fresh, clean, and glossy.
Is albedo made of chalk?
From Dust to Chalk Albedo has heavily hinted that he was created rather than born. Aside from Homuncular Nature being one of the names of his talents, Albedo remarks that he has no memory of relatives and his earliest memories are of him traveling with his teacher, Rhinedottir.
What is the albedo color and transparency parameter?
Albedo Color and Transparency A Standard Shader material with default parameters and no values or textures assigned. The Albedo Color parameter is highlighted. The Albedo parameter controls the base color of the surface.
What does the albedo of a surface mean?
Albedo varies between 0 and 1. Albedo commonly refers to the “whiteness” of a surface, with 0 meaning black and 1 meaning white. A value of 0 means the surface is a “perfect absorber” that absorbs all incoming energy. Absorbed solar energy can be used to heat the surface, evaporate water, or, when sea ice or snow is present, melt the surface.
Do you need lighting in an albedo texture?
It’s important to note that the Albedo texture should not contain any lighting, since the lighting will be added to it based on the context in which the object is seen. Two examples of typical Albedo texture maps.
What kind of data does NASA have on albedo?
Five years of global surface albedo data are now available as summary maps from NASA’s Multi-angle Imaging SpectroRadiometer (MISR). The globes in the image show a particular kind of albedo, formally known as Directional Hemispherical Reflectance (DHR), in which all scattering effects from the atmosphere are removed.
