What is Domain connect DNS?
Summary. Domain Connect is an open standard that makes it easy for a user to configure DNS for a domain running at a DNS provider to work with a Service running at an independent Service Provider. The user can do so without understanding any of the complexities of DNS.
How do I access my domains DNS?
Click directly on your domain name to access the domain editing page. On the domain editing page, select the DNS tab. Scroll down to Manage Advanced DNS Records and click on Advanced DNS Manager. Note: Any changes that you make to your advanced DNS settings can interrupt your service.

How does domain Connect work?
Domain Connect involves two parties. Historically a Service Provider would first ask the user for a domain name. The Service Provider would then try to figure out the company providing DNS, typically by querying the top-level-domain (the TLD) for the nameservers for the domain.

If you have purchased your domain from another registrar, you will need update your domain’s nameservers to ours via your domain’s page at the registrar.

Do you need to point your domain to your own DNS?
In case you purchased a Reseller hosting plan with us, it is required to point the domain to your own private or reseller nameservers specified in the Reseller Hosting Welcome email. If your domain is registered with another registrar, you will need to obtain the correct nameservers from us and then configure the DNS on their side.
