I too am having the same issue with my iPhone 4s. The DTFM is not being recognized despite the reset. It appears the ios 8 update interferes with the Sprint AirRave. If you are outside the house, the phone should be able to pass DTMF. Supposedly Sprint is aware of the issue and is working with Apple to resolve.

If I use Wifi Calling, the DTMF codes are not recognized. If I turn off wifi calling (which is NOT an option where I live) then the tones are recognized just fine. This really does need to be addressed.
