What is Google sleep sensing?
Sleep Sensing on Nest Hub is designed to track one person’s sleep. Your sleep data is safely stored in your Google Account. You can use two devices if you wish to track another person.
How do I set my Google sleep sensing?
Set up Sleep Sensing
- Open the Google Home app .
- Tap your display.
- Tap Sleep Sensing.
- Tap Set up Sleep Sensing.
- Read through the in-app instructions to allow Sleep Sensing on your display.
- Tap Set a bedtime schedule.
- Choose what time you plan to regularly go to bed and wake up.
Can Google home detect snoring?

The sensors pick up disturbances such as coughing or snoring and logs them, keeping the data on the device rather than sending it to the cloud. Clever as that is, the Hub can’t distinguish between more than one person in the room. So it could be me snoring.
