Today I wanted to try it with my (also) STM32F103C8T6, but this is a minimal eval board. When I plugged it in, I get in the device drivers/Universal Serial Bus Controlelrs: Windows has stopped this device becaue it has reported problems (Code 43) A request for the USB device descriptor failed.

But the USB CDC Host just works for me when the other client side is also a STM32 disco board and runs STMs VCP (virtual com port). Then both parties can send and receive data. But I could not manage to run my USB DCD host together with an FTDI chip (FTDI cable) which runs as client.
