Layered Navigation is the catalog navigation feature of Magento 2 that is based on price, category, color or other product attributes and allows customers to find products faster by filtering the results.
The Layered Navigation Magento 2 extension adds a separate “All Products” page to your store. It’s more efficient to start every customer’s journey through your product catalog from a single page, letting them narrow their preferences down with the layered navigation.
What is Layered navigation?
Layered navigation makes it easy to find products based on category, price range, or any other available attribute. Layered navigation usually appears in the left column of search results and category pages and sometimes on the home page. The standard navigation includes a Shop By list of categories and price range.
Where do I find the product name on a PLP?
PLP page name: The name of each PLP typically appears highlighted in the category section or atop the page. Additionally, the number of products matching the PLP criteria typically appears somewhere on the page. Sort menu: Users can sift through products listed on a PLP using a dropdown menu displaying the various sorting options available to them.
What should the category name be on a PLP?
Category name: The top navigation menu is fixed across all site pages, and on a PLP, a design element is added to highlight which category the PLP in view falls under to better orient the shopper.
