What is low and high circuit?
A “low” is a voltage lower than or equal to the maximum low input voltage (VIL) given in the datasheet. A “high” is a voltage higher than or equal to the minimum high input voltage (VIH) given in the datasheet.
What does it mean when a circuit is high?
Error Code P0642 means that there’s an abnormal high voltage reading detected within the “A” circuit, which is likely to cause a faulty engine control module.
What does it mean when a circuit is low?
OBD Code P0642 – Sensor Reference Voltage “A” Circuit Low P0642 is a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) for “Sensor Reference Voltage “A” Circuit Low”. This code means that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected a low reference voltage signal for a particular sensor that has been given the designation “A”.
What does it mean to drive a pin low?
edited Mar 14 at 22:00. It usually means pulling up or pulling down the pins. This is done to avoid the pin from being in a ‘floating state’. When that pin is not being used or not connected to anything, it might have arbitrary signal due to noise for example.
What does high mean on the connections of a chip?
A “high” is a voltage higher than or equal to the minimum high input voltage (V IH) given in the datasheet. Thanks for contributing an answer to Electrical Engineering Stack Exchange!
What does active high mean in a circuit?
Active high means function gets done when input is in high state. If there is a chip which enables the output then there will be a pin CE called chip enable. When this pin input is such that the chip is not enabled, it is as good as removing the chip from its base. The chip becomes active only when CE input is a high.
What is the difference between active low and active high logic?
Active low means the function gets done when input is in low state. Active high means function gets done when input is in high state. If there is a chip which enables the output then there will be a pin CE called chip enable.
Why is my internet connection so slow with low RAM?
More and faster RAM can handle more threads, which is especially important is you have a lot of network traffic going back and forth, such as a lot of devices or even torrenting. If you do over-utilize your network, slow CPU and RAM can cause bottlenecks in your network. When you have a bottleneck, something has to slow down.
