What is SDR sample rate?
The maximum sample rate is 3.2 MS/s (mega samples per second). However, the RTL-SDR is unstable at this rate and may drop samples. The maximum sample rate that does not drop samples is 2.56 MS/s, however some people have had luck with 2.8MS/s and 3.2 MS/s working well on some USB 3.0 ports.
Can you transmit with RTL-SDR?
The downsides of the RTL-SDR is that it can’t transmit and that the tuner range usually stops before the commonly used 2.4GHz band. Once you get into the higher-end radios, you not only get transmit capabilities, but also a wider tuner range and sample rate.
What IQ is above average?

How is the I / Q representation of a signal obtained?
I/Q representation does not correspond to different sampling points of the signal. Instead, it corresponds to the real and imaginary part of the digital complex-valued baseband signal. These parts are obtained by separately multiplying the RF signal with a sine and a cosine and sampling both streams after low-pass filtering.

Do you need a quadrature transmitter for a car radio?
